This is a brilliant intro created for the game, Fable 3. An unlikely renegade chicken becomes the main character for the cinematic intro! Fable 3, released both for Xbox 3 and Microsoft Windows, focuses on the player's struggle to overthrow the King of Albion (his brother and older son of the previous games' hero) by forming alliances and building support for a revolution. The hubby is still finishing the game so we will update as soon as he's finished. ;) ...
UP…but tears fell down
This a repost of my write-up of the movie two years ago. Since today is "the Grannies" theme I thought of posting Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The husband who's doing his usual photoshop drawings suggested UP and that makes it easier for me. There aren't so many films that made me cry, I can remember a handful and as examples...from Toy Story 2 (Pixar) when Jesse told her story of being abandoned by her 'owner' and from Meet the Robinson's (Walt Disney Animation); I cried much at the end of the story that when Lewis was finally adopted and the ending song Little Wonders was played. I thought it would be the last film that I would cry watching until I saw UP. A few minutes into the ...
Family Fun Park
When it's cold and you're tired of snowboarding, an indoor playground like the Family Fun Park is the next best venue! We come here often or when we are in the mood to sweat a lot. The playground offers a 3,500m2 of pure fun. There's a giant slide (below photo), a climbing tower (don't know the English equivalent but that's how it is when translated from German lol) for bigger kids. There are smaller slides for smaller kids but my younger son wouldn't want to be left behind. There are trampoline and bungee trampoline, a climbing wall for bigger kids and a separate one for smaller kids. There's a Go-kart track too; much to their delight, arcade games and a lot more. For now I'd be ...
Sliding Puzzle
If the kids got their liking to video games from their dad, I could fairly say they got the liking for mind games from me. ^_^ I like these kinds of traditional games...well, you can play this too on a Nintendo DS but holding a puzzle slider in your hand is a lot different. My five-year-old started with these games before he was four and he can now easily solve an 8-cube slide. He is also able to finish one face and half of 4 faces of the rubik's cube, but I will show that later on. Below is a video of the little boy finishing up the puzzle: ---For: ...
Tennis weekend
What we love to do aside from playing games is playing Tennis (well, we play that too - Wii!). For this week we played a real game at the gym across where we live. We had a trainer who showed us and taught us the moves, the right way of holding a racket and other tips. Well, since we play this every summer it was easy for him to teach us, he said. Little boy was not with us because he preferred staying at home with daddy, I tried convincing him but he said he wouldn't want to. After I showed him the photos he said he'd like to play tennis too! lol. Summer is definitely just around the corner, we look forward to the things that we're gonna be doing. We haven't planned on an out-of-town ...
