Blogging, where opinion is a big influence, is a way for me to earn money. It's not much but at least, I get to do something I like, and get paid for it too. So in this blog I review games, consoles and gadgets. I try to update really often but sometimes you just run out of things to review. What's best but to buy new games hihi. So I also need the money to buy them lol. So, I signed up for a get-paid-to-blog website where advertisers and publishers interact. Publishers get paid reviews about services and websites, while advertisers gain promotion and readers from the links. Both parties gain traffic and deeplinks that would be easily indexed in the blogosphere. Thus increasing their page ...

Fell asleep last night, wasn't able to take a photo of the eclipse, I thank Google! ...
The Rubik’s cube
I was 7 when my dad gave me my first Rubik's cube as a pasalubong. If I remember correctly, he came home from the Netherlands. I was fascinated having seen the Magic cube for the first time and it came from Europe too! I considered it an expensive toy then so I rarely got to tinker with it, lol. Fast forward 23 years later and I gave my then 4.5-year-old son his first Rubik's cube. He showed much interest with puzzles and mind games and I'm taking advantage of that. You might recall also my last entry for Toy Story is a sliding puzzle, that and this cube and a handful more are my gifts to him. It's also to enhance his thinking ability. Little boy was sleeping earlier so I wasn't able to ...
Gnomeo and Juliet
Put in Ozzy Osbourne, Emily Blunt, James McAvoy, Maggie Smith, Michael Caine, Patrick Stewart, Dolly Parton, and Hulk Hogan in a Shakespeare classic adapted into a film and you're in for a lovely movie experience! Oh wait, it's just their voices along with Sir Elton John's pieces... On the same lines as Toy Story with characters moving and talking when humans aren't around, Gnomeo and Juliet (http://www.tescoentertainment.com/store/dvd/gnomeo--juliet/8%3a736611/) is sure to mesmerize kids and kids at heart alike. The story follows or has a lot of allusion to Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet but comically as a lovestory between garden gnomes from feuding families, the blue (Montague) and red ...
Initial D (2005 Movie)
Hubby and I like the Initial D anime. It follows that we would watch the movie and read the manga as well, if we haven't yet. (It could happen that we read the manga first and compare the story to the anime.) The story of Initial D focuses on the illegal world of Japanese street racing, with events mostly happening on mountain passes with drifting as a technique emphasized. As expected Tshuchiya Keiichi, known as the Drift King, worked closely behind the anime. The movie is Hongkong made and stars both Hongkong based Chinese and Japanese actors led by Edison Chen (scandal not yet out at this time). Thanks to the subtitles I don't get lost that much. (I probably should add Cantonese and ...
Wall Climbing
I've always wanted to go wall climbing even when I was still single. I even registered for the Mountaineering Club back in college to experience both mountain and wall climbing but it never materialized (I guess I'm not just a non-techie mom, I'm also not a sporty mom lol). Imagine my delight when I found that there's a wall climbing area at the Family Fun Park. There's a separate area for toddlers and bigger kids and for adults too. The toddler's wall is of course the most colorful, the climbing stones shaped into fishes and padded so the fingers won't hurt as little kids hold on to them. One good reason I wanted to wall climb is the fact that it helps one to lose weight. (As other sports ...
