Angry Birds Plush Toys

Angry Birds Plush Toys

My husband and kids enjoy the Angry birds game...I tried playing it too but I promised myself I won't get hooked with games  anymoreso I did play just to know how it goes. ;) Photo above was play-edited by hubby...he doesn't want the pigeons around our balcony so he bought that rifle to shoo them.. So while at the city of Nürnberg we passed by a comic shop...the kids saw some Angry Birds plushies and asked dad to buy them...Daddy can't say no - he always wanted these and has been looking for them online...good thing that they cost lesser here than in Vienna. :D We got 2 for 20 - the red bird is nowhere to be found so we'll have to look for it again... So this is what happens when you ...

Freebies – Alvin and the Chipmunks

The good thing about Happy meals would be; the toys that come with it. ;) I am not too happy with the kids eating fries, chicken nuggets or burgers...but the toy comes only with Happy meals so I'd often order salads along. Sometimes you can buy them...but for 2€ a piece? No, thank you! This Alvin and the Chipmunks set is one of the many toys they got from McD's. I saw this photo from my iPhone which was setup and taken by my older son. I have lots of such photos. ^_^ Here's a related story about the movie. -- for: ...

Boating Time

Boating Time

We went on a bike tour around the Danube island and a boating trip round the Danube (even on a cold summer day, weird!). Above photo would be hubby and I (accidentally looked away), dawty and a younger friend. We went in two groups so all my photos include the other boat, #41 --- their photos have mostly ours- boat # 52. Despite the cold, there were lots of us boating, sailing and pedal boating. I usually would just take shots of these sails the past months from the train - driving by. So I took photos to my heart's content - the water, the view, the sky, all the sails around and swans.  So that's boat #41 - white, ours is red and both teams really had fun. Wondering where my two boys ...

Of Umbrellas, Raincoats, and Rainboots

Bike Fun

Bike Fun

How old were you when you learned how to ride a bike? More bluntly, can you ride a bike? I have a handful of friends who can't. One of them is more than 45-years-old and she was laughing and also feeling unaccomplished when she told me of this little secret. Another is a friend who is based in Japan...but she learned, in a matter of 8 days and now she goes to work on her bike. I was 10-years-old when I learned to ride a bike. I had a bruise on my knee...something we kids believed is needed in order to learn...that it's part of learning. Learning and Balancing Imagine my fear when my kids started learning how to ride a bike...my heart would skip whenever I see them almost falling off or ...

Lewis Hamilton & Jenson Button behind the camera instead of in front…

July 22, 2011 by Marie Gizelle 3 Comments

This is a vodafone ad alright. Notice that the photographers are themselves newsmakers...most of the time in the front pages of sports magazines and newspaper pages but for today they're behind the cameras - for a fashion shoot! Lewis Hamilton & Jenson Button both F1 racing drivers for McLaren were used to being photographed but for this shoot they were the ones who chose the models' wardrobes, selecting props and doing the actual shoot and directing those involved in the production. I say not bad...the outcome turned really great...I love the studio too!   Viral video by ebuzzing   I've been trying to figure out which camera Jenson was using but to no avail, I finished the video and still ...
