How old were you when you learned how to ride a bike? More bluntly, can you ride a bike? I have a handful of friends who can't. One of them is more than 45-years-old and she was laughing and also feeling unaccomplished when she told me of this little secret. Another is a friend who is based in Japan...but she learned, in a matter of 8 days and now she goes to work on her bike. I was 10-years-old when I learned to ride a bike. I had a bruise on my knee...something we kids believed is needed in order to learn...that it's part of learning.
