So after her dance performance with her friends and classmates, daughter said she wanted to try theatre. Coincidentally, a friend sent a message saying that someone is looking for a kid to perform for a role of an orphan child for a play at the Akademietheater. We went to audition, and they actually took 3 kids to alternate for the role. The play would start at 8 in the evening and ends up at over 9. And there would be three performances a week. The play was called Wastwater (by Simon Stephens). While the title refers to Lake District's deepest water, the play tackles the dark side of humans and is rather not for children as it is about child-trafficking and other related sad ...

Kids Learning How To Bike, 5 Essential and Best Things to Consider
During last year's summer biking post, the little boy couldn't bike by himself yet. He joined us by riding in the bicycle trailer attached to dad's bike. He enjoyed coming with us just seeing things from the trailer, but he was surely wanting to bike on his own. We did practice with his bike that has training wheels back then too. We've been out a lot these past days so he could learn how to bike, and all those paid off as he can finally ride now. While he did stumble some, there weren't major wounds gained. ;) We've been extra careful and made sure that he is properly geared to avoid any injuries should there be untoward incidences. While we're no experts, here are some things you can ...
Toys Need not be Expensive
PSP, Nintendo DS, Playstation 3, are some of the consoles my kids were used to playing with. :/ Don't get me wrong I have nothing against such gizmos especially since they have brain-training games that would really make kids think. I however believe that giving kids inexpensive toys is practical and would make more room for creativity. Younger kids tend to be careless of the toys they have and they also have shorter spans of enjoyment. I mean, they 'd play with a toy for 5 minutes and would look for something else afterwards. It's also good when kids get to tinker with their toys - just like my husband was when he was younger. My mother-in-law would often relate such stories that when he ...
Learn Programming: Start With Python
Learning a programming language might be difficult for newbies or to those who have zero knowledge about programming. One of the hard thing in this is to decide which programming language to learn first. I can still remember the first programming language that I have learned. That was way back 2004, when I transferred school and shifted from Electrical Engineering Technology to Computer Engineering. By the way, the language was the one that was created by Dennis Ritchie and now known as God's programming language, the C. Actually, if you want to start learning programming, choosing a language is not the first step. Studying algorithm must go first or together with. I guess, programming ...
