Best Of Shoes : Air Jordan Son of Mars Low

We love our Air Jordans - no matter which model. Here, my boys don on their Air Jordan Son of Mars low - on our way to the gym. (We will be playing basketball, table tennis, badminton, tennis, beach volleyball with friends.) These pairs are comfortable, they're very well-padded around the toe box and ankle which gives a very supportive feel. Since they are high-cut even though named 'low', you are surely protected when a fall happens while playing. However, we find our other basketball shoes to be more comfortable when playing so we tend to wear these Air Jordans only when walking about. Son of Mars The Air Jordan Son of Mars is a hybrid design from the Jordan Brand and Spike Lee- ...

6 Great Reasons Why Kids Should Ride Horses

It could be for various reasons that both children and adults like to ride horses. And no two people would have the same. Many of us just like to be active and stay away from the four walls of our home, while others may have a real passion for the competitive side of things and hope that one day they can be raised to a professional level. Although it seems simple, it takes a lot of dedication to truly professionally engage in this sport. "Having a child is like having your heart walk around outside your body." I am well aware that one day soon, hubby and I will be empty-nesters. :( But still, knowing one of our kids is not home lets the worrywart in me out in the open. Regardless if it's our daughter, our older son, or youngest who is going on a ski-trip, or a school week away, I still worry - as a mom should. Even though I know that school trips are important and can be beneficial to them overall. Our youngest son is now 9 and 1/2 years old, he is semi-independent and obeys his teachers well. However, he tends to easily get distracted and can forget to do what he should. I've given him notebooks to list down what the ...

Kid Photographer

My son has seriously taken a liking to photography. I guess it goes to show how much I and hubby influenced him. Having the older 400d in retirement, we allow him to bring it at times when they have school field trips. I made him use the kit lens so that he won't find it difficult to carry. Here are some of the photos he took. No Rules So how do you teach a kid to have fun while taking shots using his camera? The rule is, there are no rules especially because for him it's just like playing and capturing the fun times spent with friends. What they see in front of them eventually gets captured. Fun can’t be taught, but you as an adult can help pull it out of them as they start to dip their ...
