While technology has given us some amazing games there is nothing like some of the old standbys. Foosball tables have not lost their popularity among young and old. There a lot of great reasons to invest in foosball tables. They allow kids and adults to spend some time actually physically doing something together. This is a great compromise to video games and offers some very basic playing skills that everyone should know. You can really get a nice competition going with these classic games.
Foosball tables are small enough that they can fit in most game rooms without trouble and even in some other areas of the house. Leaving a little room to move freely is always a great idea to improve your playing power. I love this game. I used to play it on the arcade. Really brings back memories of my childhood.
Nice article. Would you be interested in writing a guest post for my other blog : http://mywackylifeover40.com/. I think readers would be interested in your ideas for techie kids as many of them are still techies themselves and want to buy gifts for their kids or grandkids. Thanks.
Hi Angela, thanks for the invitation, I maintain about 20 blogs so I’m not sure if I would have the time to guestpost, will let you know. Thanks again!
I love foosbal. It’s a great game to play with your family and friends. As far as them being unattractive, it’s really just a matter of finding one that works well with your room’s layout and design. We have oak hardwood floors and dark colored furniture, so we just found a nice table that matches. It looks great and if anything makes your home look more inviting. When friends or family come by, they always want to play a game.
It’s a great game for visitors to play…some visitors won’t enjoy playing wii games but I bet they’d enjoy traditional games like chess or foosball.
This is something that I would like to have in my house. I’m not a fan but my nieces and nephews would really love it.
My kids love this…I’d have them play this than just video games at home 🙂
This is one of the things I want indoor. It’s a great escape after a long and tedious hours of work.
Gosh I remember these! is that showing my age? Kids love this, and it’s fun too.
I always saw this game at movies and never had the chance to play with it. Poor Me 🙁
I would love to try this one but I don’t think I can do it because of my poor hand and eyes coordination. waaaah!
i enjoy playing this game with my kids, it brings out the youth in me ahaha
I have only seen this on tv…never tried it before.
I enjoy watching kids when they played at foosball table. I am planning to have this in the future for my son.
I think this is not just for kids but also a good relaxation for the adults and a nice bonding moment for parent and child.
I so love to have this in my house.. this is better than playing psp.. 🙂
you know what? i have never really mastered this game. poor reflexes maybe
I dunno how to play this game. I only saw it in movies but you are right sis — classic always stand out. It never fades.
I’ve never played foosball! I’ve seen it on American TV shows and movies, but I haven’t seen one in real life. I’ve always wondered how it is played.
But, yes, I agree. We should all spend some time bonding with family or friends offline ’cause nothing really beats the amount of fun you’d get from it. 🙂
It’s nice but I think it will take up space in our house.
I’ve never actually tried one but my son would surely love one in our house. He’s always bored so this would definitely be a great help 🙂
