After having been addicted to Angry Birds, I thought I’ve had enough and never will come back for more, but I spoke too soon. Before I even get to say goodbye to the previous Angry Bird game, here I am again with another crave for challenge.
Angry Birds Space has put on another twist to the game where the zero gravity and magnetic field can be your worst nightmare or could be your greatest weapon as well. Apparently, the angry birds has gone berserk once again after their precious eggs were stolen by a spaceship from outer space after a mysterious space ice bird came out of nowhere carrying a golden egg. They put on their space suits and went their way to space along with newly found friends to fight the evil space pigs and save their younglings.
I was a bit hesitant to install the game on my tablet because I know it may affect my daily life once again but after watching the preview of the game and got a hands-on experience on a tablet showcase in SM North EDSA plus my son’s persuasions, I was convinced to install the game. “Yehey!” was the first word of my son after getting a hold of my tablet with the newly installed game of Angry Birds Space on it. He was the first one to actually play the game on my tablet. My tablet was almost drained before he could put it down. My first impression upon playing the game was “Oh my!”, with new birds, new special powers and new enemy pigs too, it’s a total mayhem or should I say light-speed destruction.
The puzzles were more challenging than ever because of the added twist to the game. Even a straight attack could curve or worst could get sucked once the bird enters or even touch a planet’s magnetic field or atmosphere and force it to go down that planet instead of the enemy on space. Oh! I love the Arkanoid and Mario styled game on the Eggsteroids world, it’s a must-play level on the game.
Lots of newly released tablets on the market are now being shipped with Angry Birds Space built-in to it. Clearly, Rovio, developer of Angry Birds has once again impressed most platforms on the market from Android OS, IOS, Windows Mobile and even desktop computers. I won’t be surprised if I see it on my son’s PSP again like their previous one.
Go ahead and play the game but don’t say I didn’t warn you, the game is addictingly great!
