Tennis Boy : which racket?

What to do when your kid has a headband most of the time? And not because he’s playing tennis or he wants to but he must…He had an accident that he has to wear this headband most of the time until his wound heals. I took advantage of the bandage (rhyme not intended) that the little boy was wearing – took shots as if he’s a tennis player and he had much fun doing it too.

I’ve always mentioned that he’s a left-handed and that he loves to draw, I never realized that being left-handed is advantageous in tennis too until it was mentioned by a friend. Come to think of it, we’ve been watching the anime Prince of Tennis and the main character is actually a left-handed who learned to play with his right, the opposite of Rafael Nadal – a right-handed who learned left.

There are a lot of tennis camps this summer but I haven’t registered the kids to any yet. I do take them to free training days at the sports center near our place. Entry is here. I do not have the budget yet to enroll them so maybe we’ll just play at the open courts around.
