Playmobil Funpark, Germany, Big Fun With The Big Stuff

August 26, 2011 by Marie Gizelle 7 Comments

Playmobil

Playmobil, is Lego's counterpart created in Germany. (The former being Denmark's brainchild.) Just like Lego, Playmobil figures and sets - which could be assembled and disassembled help kids develop creativity thus widening their imagination. Playmobil figures are dressed up according to the profession they represent; doctors, nurses or construction worker...the list goes on. Each figure is 7.5cm and easy to put together...having no names, kids are entitled to give them one and create their own figures. We visited Playmobil Funpark recently...a 3rd time for my two older kids and the first time for the little boy. He was surprised with the gigantic figures that were to be seen everywhere. ...

Fishing Fun!

An activity that doesn't come by so easy for us is catching fish. Fishing fun, as the kids would say, happens (may or may not because of the weather) when we go to Germany to visit Oma and Opa. So while at the city of Nürnberg we passed by a comic shop...the kids saw some Angry Birds plushies and asked dad to buy them...Daddy can't say no - he always wanted these and has been looking for them online...good thing that they cost lesser here than in Vienna. :D We got 2 for 20 - the red bird is nowhere to be found so we'll have to look for it again... So this is what happens when you ...

Freebies – Alvin and the Chipmunks

The good thing about Happy meals would be; the toys that come with it. ;) I am not too happy with the kids eating fries, chicken nuggets or burgers...but the toy comes only with Happy meals so I'd often order salads along. Sometimes you can buy them...but for 2€ a piece? No, thank you! This Alvin and the Chipmunks set is one of the many toys they got from McD's. I saw this photo from my iPhone which was setup and taken by my older son. I have lots of such photos. ^_^ Here's a related story about the movie. -- for: ...
